Bahasa Indonesia e-Learning
The
University of Hawaii at Manoa offers three dedicated distance education
e-learning courses for beginning to advanced Indonesian. These courses were developed
between 2003 and 2013 by a team of instructors and methodologists
under the supervision of Dr. Uli Kozok, coordinator of the Indonesian
language program at the University of Hawaii.

The lessons of the three courses are based on the theory that language
learners need to notice the language forms in a natural context
and then practice using the targeted structures in a meaningful
and communicative way. This means learners should be exposed to
a variety of texts, focussing first on the meaning, then analysing
the texts for appropriate language patterns, and finally practising
using the patterns themselves in a similar context.
The courses offered are available not only to UH students
but to anyone anywhere. You can conveniently enrol through UH
Outreach College.
